Ralla app policies

Introduction

Ralla is an app for activity organizers. It makes it easier for those organizers to create collaborative experiences using AI to remove some of the work involved in confirming and verifying the things participants are doing. We hope those tools will unlock the ability for organizers to create new kinds of collaborations around work and play and within the communities they support.

With that in mind, we want to have very clear policies in four areas

  • Participant recourse and safety
  • Pricing and reimbursements
  • Third party front end integration
  • New element and integration creation

Participant Recourse and Safety policies

Attending an event or activity created by organizer creates a relationship between that organizer and participants. But Ralla is supporting that relationship and, as such, has two important responsibilities

  • Monitoring the type, time, and location of events to identify potential risks to participants
  • Respond to participant concerns about organizer activity that is exploitative or misleading

In the first case, we will conduct regular reviews of the form, time, and location of events and include notification to participants when special care in reviewing an activity may be warranted. We may also elect to remove from the platform events that reach a certain level of participant risk.

In the second case, we will take complaints submitted to support@ralla.io about organizers seriously. Complaint review will involve a thorough analysis of the activities run by organizers, follow up feedback from participants, and may result in organizers being banned from the platform.

We consider these responsibilities an essential part of our role in support activity and event creation. However, these commitments do not create any implied or explicit responsibility related to any transaction or agreement between the organizer of an activity and the participants that choose to attend their activities.

Per event resourcing and reimbursement policies

We’re transparent about the way the platform works: Organizers can set up and invite participants to join an activity at no risk. We charge a small fee per activity calculated based on the AI tools the organizer chooses to deploy. There are no other fees. This approach helps define three important policies for us:

  • Ralla doesn’t facilitate the sale of tickets and cannot be held liable for ticket reimbursement
  • Ralla may choose to reimburse unused credit purchase to organizers that submit a request to support@ralla.io, however;
  • Ralla will not reimburse spent credits used to deploy AI workers in an activity after the organizer elects to deploy the AI workers to their activity

Third party front end policies

Ralla is a tool for organizers. Our focus is on managing the deployment of AI workers (we call them “elements”) that can enhance collaboration by removing some of the work needed to validate a participants progress or assignment completion.

Obviously, there are many cases in which the front end experience for participants is already determined. Either because the app is already installed or brand connection already exists. In those instances, Ralla can work with partners to deploy a front end element to existing apps, assuming the scheduling and management of the activity continues to be managed through the organized module of the Ralla platform. If you’re interested in exploring this option, you can reach us at integrations@ralla.io, understanding that these kinds of integration will involve custom development.

New element and integration policies

Our belief is that the workflow that Ralla enables will be useful to both organizers and activity participants and in some cases transformative to the kinds of in-person collaborations that are possible. We believe the capability will have value in any collaboration where validation and verification are important, including certain forms of distributed work, social in-person games, community organization, and sponsored activities.

With this in mind, we welcome experience designers and organizers that have existing game and experience designs that could take advantage of the verification features Ralla offers. This would be owners branded experience in which the IP owner collected profits collected from their design.

The same policy would apply to ticketing and third party systems that would enhance the overall participant experience. Contact us at integrations@ralla.io with any questions.
